On The Run

photo coming soon!

on the run was built in winter 2012 by Scott and Sam Trower for new member Matt Bailey. like all of the current limited modified's, it uses an XL motor and has a Trower design chassis. it has a gear ratio of 1:1 and    uses ball gears in the rear axle.

mini rascal

mini rascal was originally called lock n' load and was owned by Scott Trower, but it has since been bought by another new member Ben Stimpson. It is the only remaining tractor with a first-generation Trower chassis. like the other tractors, it has an XL motor, a gear ratio of 1:1 and ball gears in the rear end.

XL

first run in 2012, XL used to have two motors and used to be called twin XL black. it has been modified for the new season to be more competitive. it has an experimental chassis and normal gears in the back end. this makes it very different to the other limited modified's.

Luke's tractor

built by Luke Waygood, this tractor completely stands out from the crowd. 2012 points champion, it has a different chassis and rear wing to the other tractors. It has an XL motor as power and is geared 1:1. It was also the first tractor to have ball gears in the rear end. This configuration proved successful last season, but Luke will face tough competition from others to stop him retaining his title this season.

New for the 2013 season, Nathan Jones will be looking to succeed as he makes the step from prostock to limited modified. His new tractor is almost exactly the same as on the run with and XL motor, 1:1 gearing, Trower 2nd generation chassis and ball gears in the back end.

lock n' load 2

Lock n' load 2, owned by Scott Trower, ran last season as hunted fox but the sale of the original lock n' load   to ben stimpson has caused a name change. The tractor that pioneered the 2nd generation trower chassis, it has the same configuration as most of the other tractors. This tractor finished 2nd in the championship last season, so scott will be looking to improve on his results this coming season.

3.5kg super stock

gold dust

Gold dust is a Minneapolis Moline super stock built for the 2013 season. It is the very first air-powered tractor that uses compressed air to power it. this means that it has a lot more wheel speed that the other tractors do so it rely's on friction to move not pure power. It is a completely different idea to the other tractors so we will have to see what the future holds for this tractor.

John Deere

John Deere was the first ever tractor in this category. It uses a bruder John Deere 6920 bonnet around an xl motor. this tractor was last season's champion so will look to defend his title, although the quality of super stocks  has been improved massively since this tractor was built so he will have to go some to win this season.

twin XL red

Twin XL red was built in 2012 and is powered by two XL motors that are joined together via a cross box that converts the two drives into one. It is geared 1:1 and has ball gears in the rear end. this tractor was full of bugs last season, so hopefully all of the problems will be ironed out in time for the 2012 season.
